Is 14 TOO young for a boyfriend?

Ok so I'm seriously tired of being single.Most pf my friends have had a boyfriend and I feel weried.When I talk about it on fb my cousin(whos 27)will say things like"Enjoy your childhood!"or"Your just a little gir;!"I dont know how to react.And no I do not want a boyfriend for sex,popularity,drugs etc.I just think that even though im not an adult yet,dosent mean that im a young child.I mean since when do teens not have boyfriends?
