My parents are against me dating the girl im currently with but i think i love her. what do i do?

your parents have raised you to be "the golden boy" and the good person you are. you should tell them you were raised by them to be a good accepting person, which is why you accept this girl for who she is and you care a lot about her. thank them for helping you become the person you are, otherwise you may not have accepted this girl. even if they don't approve of her, tell them it was because of the way they raised you to be a good person. and don't let them change your mind! you are an adult and will regret giving up this girl, she could end up being the love of your life. don't throw it away, you can't be "the golden boy" forever, you can be "the golden man" if you stand up for this girl to your parents and prove how wonderful she really is, and how she will not get in the way of your school work. if they still disapprove, let them. don't give her up. your parents will eventually come around.
